In order to learn about _________________, we had to create/perform/ write/etc…
The purpose of this project was to learn about a historical moment that happened to or was witnessed by one of your family members. I also learned about my family history. In order to find this information we had to create a topic about anyone in your family that witnessed or seen any historical moment. I chose my grandmother she was alive when my grandfather was in world war two. In order to learn about this event we had to do a lot of research and interview those people that we chose.

During this project I learned about my grandmother and what she did for my grandfather to support him during the World war two and how he was one of many soldiers to help save our country and how she did it. In my research I found out how women in America took over the mens jobs when they were at war and when the war was over they didn't want to give up their jobs because some women were usually at home giving birth, cooking, cleaning, and doing other stuff that needed to be done. World war two started in 1939 and ended 1945 that is when the women of America achieved their victory when the war was over. I explored the concept of what women had to go through when men were away. Some were worried because some of their love ones where there and they risked their lives to save our country.

REFLECTION
I really enjoyed this project because I learned so much about my grandfather and my grandmother. Also I got to learn about our family history. I feel like i could have done better if I chose a different topic because during my interview I found out stuff I didn't want to hear about and i got through that struggle. Next time, I would ask about our family history then I will interview someone who will give me the right feedback and information to me so it will be easier and i think that i had a really hard topic comparing to the other students. But overall i think that this project was a great way to learn more about my family and how it was done because i found out a lot of information that i didn't know about in the past.
