Ties that bind, Ties that Break OP#1

Pages: 59 or 4 chapters

1. This book reminds me of something that happened in my life before because in the book Ailin does not want to get her feet binded and she might have to. That reminds me when I was going to get my ears pirced for a second time I didn't haave a choice and I had to get them pierced again. A character that I like in the book so far, I think that its Ailin's father because he is the niceest person to her in the book.

2. So far this book makes me wonder about why they bind feet and how they do it. Also about how they get it inside of the shape that they put it in.

3. Question: Do you think that it was fare for the mom to tell her that she should get her feet binded? why

Yes I think that her mom was just doing what would be best for her because if she didn't get her feet bound then her life would be miserable. I feel that we may think that it is cruel and people shouln't get their feet bound but they just didn't want to go against tradition. I think that now that Ailien is not getting her feet bound she would have to live her life without a husband and bassicallt be alone with out a family.
