Brother I'm Dying: Book Review

Brother I'm Dying: Book Review
The book that I read was Brother I'm Dying by Edwidge Danticat, This book lets you experience about many different important topics. Some topics that I learned more about was immigration, certain love that people have for their family, and how you need to stick together with people you love because in a little bit of time the most tragic things can happen.
Immigration has to do with the book when the author immigrated to New York with her brother, also when her mother and father left Haiti for a better life in America. I talked about having certain love for your family member because when her parents left she needed someone to take care of her, so her uncle became a second father for her.
The last topic that I mentioned was to stick together because the most tragic moments may happen. I mentioned that because it gives an idea about the war happening and the changes that the author and her brother was headed for. I know that this would be a great book for people who want to know a true story about war, tragedies, and a young woman and her family surviving in a bad neighborhood. Read to see what happened in Haiti, why she left, and what obstacles she had faced.
