1. One of my favorite sentences in this book is in the back of the book it says,"When Maleeka lays eyes on her new teacher, Miss Saunders, she encounter someone who she feels, is worst off than she is.
1a. That is my favorite sentence because she doesn't have a right to talk about someone else that has a problem worst that hers, although Miss Saunders has a skin condition that still relates to Maleeka with a dark skin tone and she wouldn't like it if someone talked about her but she doesn't care because other students are already talking about her.
2. In this book so far I think that the message that the author is trying to point out is that you shouldn't make fun of anyone just because of their skin color because it can or will hurt their feelings.
3. What I read today made me feel like friends could always go behind your back and say different things about you and then the next thing you know they come right back to you with a totally different story and talking about people and not you anymore. Also it made me think about what kind of friends I should talk to or hang out with.

Nice Job on your post Jessica! And that is a great sentence you chose. It shows a lot. It shows a lot of emotion and feelings in the sentence. Also how did Miss. Saunders get a "skin condition"??? I do not really get that part. But Great Job! Keep Up The Great Work!!!

There are a lot of sites out there showing book video. BookVideoTV, BookTelevision and of course CSPAN, but I like how BN.com and Reader's Entertainment TV have specific genre channels and original shows. There's just more to see and I can be specific in what genre I'm interested in. Anyone else watch online tv?
