The purpose of this project was step back in time to learn about the Renaissance. In order to learn about the renaissance we were assigned a person from the Renaissance and we had to learn about them, then we later created a biography about our Renaissance person.

I learned about Titian, he was a very famous painter in the renaissance. He was the greatest painter in Venetian School for his use of bright colors and thick brush strokes. Titian was famous for such paintings as Self Portrait, The Gypsy madonna, and Man in the red cap. In this project, I learned how to be able to look at someone and be that someone. I also learned about a great painter in the renaissance who painted religious paintings and painted what he wanted to. During this project I improved on my research and writing skills. I have noticed that because I can see that in my grades I have been doing better than last semester.

I enjoyed this project because it gave me a better understanding of how the renaissance worked and what happened during the time of it. I feel like I could have done better with this project because I know that I could get off task sometimes and from last semester I know that that was suppose to be a goal but I guess I didn't achieve it. I know that my goal for the rest of the school year and next year I will reach my goal.
