Title: Piggy's got the Conch
Character: Piggy
I suddenly stopped and took a gaze at everyone because I was thinking about how rude they have been. They all have been telling me to shut up all the time and not letting me talk. I feel so bad for myself and want to do something about it. Ralph said, "whoever has the conch may speak" and I really want to get it so I can say whatever I feel like. We all start to find somewhere to give signal to a ship that pass by the island. So we found a tall mountain and thought that we should build a fire. There is a little boy who keeps nagging about a so called beastie and I don't believe him at all. It is now very late and we still haven't built the fire and I don't even see the little boy anymore. Ralph is still talking about his dad is in the navy and that he is going to rescue us off of this island, but I keep trying to tell him that no one knows that we are stuck on this island and I still want to get the conch to tell everyone my ideas. I just hope everyone will listen to me and stop calling me Piggy.

I like how you said in the second line how they keep telling you to shut up and not letting you talk. Then in the last line how you said i wish everbody would listen to me and stop calling my piggy.

Jessica,
I really liked this entry because your thoughts were very present in it. It seemed you took a while to write it and really put yourself in Piggy's shoes. It sounded like it was taken from someone's mind and demonstrated how Piggy interpreted the situation. It was very well done ;)
